The State Emergency Service (SES) is tirelessly cleaning up from previous storms, helping those affected by wild weather. Northern NSW locals are being warned to get ready for another wave of heavy rain, as a mix of strong winds and ferocious downpours reassemble to create chaos. So, if you thought you could put away your umbrella, think again!

Meanwhile, the weather chaos doesn't halt in the Hunter region, where the storm conditions worsened and rain continues to batter the area. Due to the recent stormy antics, the local council's mowing and maintenance schedule has been thrown into disarray. Residents are left wondering when their lawns will bounce back from the stormy splendour, and whether any governmental backup will arrive to help out. We could all use a little extra support when nature throws a hissy fit like this!

Adding to the madness, Port Stephens tourist spots have joined the storm watch alert, while the local police have set up an Emergency Operations Centre. They are working round the clock, responding to countless incidents poured in from residents desperate for help. More than 2000 calls for assistance emerged, as the SES fielded over 1800 incidents during Sydney's worst storm, proving that while we love our beaches, the storms have a knack for crashing the party!
