The aerial footage didn’t paint a pretty picture; it showed the charred remnants of once-luxurious homes belonging to both ordinary folks and Hollywood elite. Adam Brody and Leighton Meester's $6.5 million dollar mansion, which boasted six bedrooms and six bathrooms, was reduced to rubble. And it wasn’t just the Brody family feeling the heat; prominent figures like Mel Gibson, Paris Hilton, and Jeff Bridges saw their homes engulfed in flames, leading Hilton to express her heartbreak on social media.

Amidst the chaos, reporters like Katy Tur, who grew up in Pacific Palisades, described the heart-wrenching scenes of destruction, saying, "It felt like the apocalypse as the flames ripped through the streets I once called home."
