Sylvester Stallone listed out his condition to return to the Creed franchise only if Michael B. Jordan and no other person is involved in Creed IV.
Directed by Ryan Coogler, Creed became a one-of-its-kind movie as people rushed to the theaters to see the merger between the old and the new generation of boxers. Stating that the movie was going in a different direction than what Stallone had originally intended, the actor dropped out of the third part of the franchise to leave it up to Michael B. Itโs as though he has to finish a mission, which was a love letter to his father who had been very, very ill and that stimulated the idea. Jordan, portraying the character of Creed acts as a new generation of boxers that the people can relate to much like Sylvester Stalloneโs Balboa and the Rocky franchise. The duo starred in Creed I and Creed II together however, the Rambo: First Blood actor dropped out of the third part of the franchise. Jordan, Stallone reprised his role in what would eventually come to be known as the Creed franchise.
