LIVE NRL: Eels cop TWO sin bins inside 25 minutes as late hit ends Tedesco's night.

“Boy how good was that from Will Penisini. “I don’t know whether the play from Penisini had anything to do with it. Simonsson was then binned in the 24th minute for a high shot on Tedesco after the Roosters skipper batted on a pass and was levelled. But Roosters wouldn’t be denied a third time and it was Drew Hutchison who crossed in the corner thanks to a nice flick pass from Jaxson Paulo in the 13th minute. Instead, the Eels marched down field and booted a two-pointer to score the first points of the match in the 10th minute. In the fifth minute, the Roosters broke through the middle and Dylan Brown made a try-saving tackle on James Tedesco but his Parramatta teammates struggled to get back on side.

Roosters vs Eels: Trent Robinson 'ropeable' after James Tedesco ... (Sporting News AU)

The Sydney Roosters have put a whirlwind week behind them with a commanding 28-20 win over Parramatta spearheaded by Joseph Suaalii.

“Some guys get a little bit stunned in that position but he played a lot. But it didn’t last long as for the third-straight week they were bombarded early by a side fresh off the bye. “It was a really good game to win but I feel like there is still a long way to go there as I was disappointed by the end of the game.” After the brief euphoria of their win over the Panthers, they were brought back down to earth with a bump as a dominant Roosters outfit flexed their muscles and condemned them to a 1-4 start. The Parramatta captain pulled off another try-saver on Suaalii when he stripped the ball one-on-one in an aerial contest to keep the Eels within two scores with a quarter of the game still remaining. The sheer weight of possession telling when six-straight sets to the Roosters in the red zone ended with a flick pass from Suaalii sending Jaxson Paulo over in the corner untouched. “But then I looked at it after the game and I was sort of a bit more 50/50 about what I thought after I took some time to look at it. “It was a good representation on the scoreline but then we missed our mark in the second half. Something had to give though and it eventually did with Sydney scoring two quick tries to close out the half 16-2 ahead and give the scoreline a more accurate reflection of how things had gone. “I don’t want to talk about that incident in particular because I know Simonsson didn’t go in or leave the ground and all of that, but Ted is now out for two weeks and it was high contact. The shot left the Sydney captain sprawled out on the pitch before he was able to gather himself and go off for a HIA. The Eels were in quicksand almost from the first whistle, controversially losing Will Penisini to the sin bin after he was deemed to have committed a professional foul off the back of one of four linebreaks from the Roosters inside the opening quarter of an hour.
