Carlos Alcaraz produced another solid effort to defeat a very good Tommy Paul at the Miami Masters getting one step closer to the Sunshine double.

He had multiple chances to break Paul but eventually did it only once which was enough. Even so, he dropped his serve only once even though Alcaraz had a chance to go up a double break. Paul was very aggressive but he couldn't his as many winners as he had hoped.
