"Considering we only have a small space of time, we can't muck around and just keep trying the same things over and over again and failing," Gould said. "I thought I was dreaming, it was a nightmare," Bill said. "I managed to stop a car to call for help and then I remembered after a certain time in Canowindra, there were no ambulances," Sam said. "I know the terror in a patient's eyes looking at you, who can't breathe and they're relying on you to clear that obstruction very quickly," Gould said. "We were only a few minutes from home and she started choking in the back of the car," Sam said. "I was even helping do CPR on my own child, which was really confronting, but as a mum, you'll do anything to try and save your child's life," Sam said. Being a country town, there was no doctor on site, only two nurses and a cleaner, who all pitched in to try and save the little girl. "Her little cute runners will never have her little feet in them," Sam said.
