However, Thomas’ shooting fell off a cliff in the second half as he couldn’t buy a bucket. In the first half, Brooklyn and Phoenix played to a standstill until the final minutes of the half. In the second half, the Nets fought until the very end, but were unable to make any dents in terms of gaining a lead.
