Brown prevailed in that one as his brother [Equanimeous](https://www.nfl.com/players/equanimeous-st-brown/)proved to be a better set-up man. The dynamic deep threat made a beautiful over-the-shoulder grab of a [Trevor Lawrence](https://www.nfl.com/players/trevor-lawrence/)bomb for a game-winning score in the AFC’s 18-13 triumph in the second flag contest of Sunday’s Pro Bowl Games. [Stefon Diggs](https://www.nfl.com/players/stefon-diggs/), he was visibly perturbed on the sideline amid Buffalo’s blowout [playoff loss](https://www.nfl.com/games/bengals-at-bills-2022-post-2)against the Bengals. [Derek Carr](https://www.nfl.com/players/derek-carr/)who threw the final touchdown in the first rendition of the Pro Bowl Games, but unfortunately for the soon-to-be former Las Vegas Raiders quarterback, he left Allegiant Stadium on the losing side. The revamped Pro Bowl, featuring flag football games, may have been even more competitive than when tackling was allowed.

Notably, Diggs' interception came at the expense of his brother, [Stefon](https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/2976212/stefon-diggs), who was attempting a pass on a trick play. The AFC scored the go-ahead touchdown on what looked like a zone-read run from Tennessee Titans running back [Derrick Henry](https://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/3043078/derrick-henry). The Smith-Kyle Juszczyk connection is good for a point to give the NFC an 7-6 lead. Smith finds Lamb again for the go-ahead score — the conference declines a holding penalty on Ramsey, making the score 32-27. 3:50 p.m.: FINAL: NFC wins Game 1 33-27 over the AFC after time runs out on the latter. Kirk Cousins threw three touchdowns passes to rally the NFC to a win over the AFC in the Pro Bowl Games, ending the conference's five-game losing streak.

NFC quarterback Jared Goff completed five of 12 passes for 44 yards and a touchdown with an interception. The AFC earned six more points in that game for an 18-12 lead. Smith completed 14 of 16 passes for 239 yards and five touchdowns. His AFC counterpart, Derek Carr, was six for 12 for 104 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Each of the first two flag games were worth six points, and each skills event was three. Then the NFC tied it by winning the first flag game 33-27.

LAS VEGAS — Absurd. Silly. Fun. That's the best way to describe the inaugural Pro Bowl Games that the NFL put together this year in lieu of an actual game.
