Qualifier Noskova, ranked No 102, will face Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, the second seed, for the trophy.

Linda Noskova will play in the Adelaide International final as she defeated top seed Ons Jabeur 6-3 -1-6 6-3 to advance to her maiden final in her career.

It worked out in her favour because she held from 0-40 down in the first game of the final set and then took a break from Jabeur. She used one of five she had while Jabeur wasted all four and that was enough to take the first set 6-3. The first set was very close and you could essentially say that it came down to a few points.
