Will the next Indiana Jones tell us what happened to Shia LaBeouf's character, Mutt Williams?

Fans eagerly welcome Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, which will release on June 30, 2023. This begs the question of why Mutt is not appearing in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Mutt Williams, a.k.a Henry Jones III, is introduced in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. By the time Mutt joins his parents as his father's groomsman — Indiana and Marion do get married near the end of the movie — Mutt and his father's relationship seems to be heading in the right direction. The coronavirus pandemic and a safety concern over injuries are only two of the many factors that have caused Indiana Jones 5's release date to be postponed for years. Whether this will be a complete spin-off, sequel, or prequel is unknown, as is whether any of the movie actors would appear. It seems that the legendary Indiana Jones franchise's future is uncertain at this moment.
