Off the pitch, his charitable efforts include launching the AR26 Charity, which aims to provide all young people in his home country with an equal start in life, in late 2020. The left-back has since made 243 Liverpool appearances and been a key figure in the winning of a host of major honours, including Champions League glory in 2019, the Premier League title the following year and last season’s Carabao Cup and Emirates FA Cup successes. The Liverpool defender has been acknowledged for his outstanding achievements in the game, as well as his commitment to making a difference off the pitch through his own charity.
