'That '70s Show' is getting a sequel series, focusing on 90s teen Leia Forman - and featuring the bulk of the OG sitcom's cast.

[WandaVision](https://concreteplayground.com/brisbane/arts-entertainment/film-tv/films-tv-shows-stream-2021-january)) and Kurtwood Smith ( [The Dropout](https://concreteplayground.com/brisbane/arts-entertainment/film-tv/the-dropout-disney-plus-review)) are also back as Eric's parents Kitty and Red — a new group of high schoolers will be hanging out both down the street and in the Forman family basement. Helping the former: the fact that the bulk of the initial comedy series' cast is back this time around, although they're not the focus. Prepare for nostalgia on plenty of levels — including for the OG series itself, and for the 90s era that this follow-up is set in.

What is new is that we get to see a bunch of the old cast returning. They’re joined by a few other friends, including Jay Kelso (Mace Coronel), who is the son of Kelso and Jackie, making for even more descendants of the original series. Leia (Callie Haverda), their grandaughter, comes to visit and instantly makes friends with the rebellious daughter of their neighbor, Gwen (Ashley Aufderheide).

Laura Prepon, who is set to reprise her role as Donna in That '90s Show, is also set to direct episodes of the new series.
