And I just don’t know why that had to happen in the way that it did so quickly. Now there are still those out there and a number of those people used to be my supporters and so, I have to they will understand why I’ve had to take that step. The point of this is to work through it and it needs to be a national conversation and so, you can support it or you can oppose it but let’s have the conversation and work through it and see what we can do together. Andrew Gee is the federal representative of Calare covering many recently flood ravaged towns in NSW’s central west, including Eugowra, which saw what was described as an “inland tsunami” wipe out 90% of its buildings. But I think there is definitely a growing dissolution with mainstream parties, that’s why I’m no longer in one any more. This is where it ends. That diplomatic freeze ended in June when China permitted a meeting between the countries’ defence ministers in Singapore in June. Scott Morrison also met with the Chinese premier, Li Keqiang, in November 2019. Simon Birmingham visited Shanghai in November 2019 and had engagements with the then commerce minister. And as a member of the National Party, they are in Coalition to form a New South Wales government so it’s their responsibility and I’m much freer to speak out on those issues that I ever was before because I don’t have to worry about the constraints of a party position or the constraints of a party line because we are heading into a state election coming up in March. The previous election was in May 2019. We are engaging constructively with China.
