QLD police shooting: Brothers, woman at centre of deadly ... (7NEWS.com.au)

Nathaniel, Gareth and Stacey Train were shot dead after murdering two police officers and a neighbour on a rural Queensland property.

He was a gentleman, very considerate of everything and couldn’t have helped me more settle her into the school,” she told 7NEWS. (Nathaniel Train) started putting in measures for him to feel safe at school and participate in more activities at school,” she said. My son’s got special needs and does not do well at school. “He realised she needed a bit of extra help and got a bit of extra help for her. It appeared Nathaniel Train had difficulties in Walgett prior to his departure, with reports he believed there had been NAPLAN cheating at the school. “Gareth Train resigned from the Department in May 2016, Nathaniel Train resigned from the Department in March 2020, and Stacey Train resigned from the Department in December 2021.” “He behaved and acted like any principal I’ve dealt with in my electorate,” he wrote on Facebook. “I just thought the world of him and am in total shock.” “I just remember enrolling my daughter in the school and being in the principal’s office with him. “Gareth, Nathaniel and Stacey Train are former employees of the Queensland Department of Education,” a spokesperson for the department told 7NEWS.com.au. “Unfortunately, he went off on sick leave and we got a new principal, who continued on with that. As more is pieced together about the three members of the Train family, 7NEWS can reveal Nathaniel Train and Stacey had initially been in a relationship after they met through their careers in education.

Police in Australia examine conspiracy theories behind shooting ... (The Guardian)

Conspiracy theories and any prior planning will be central to an investigation in Wieambilla, Queensland.

“We will get to the bottom of this. According to a missing persons notice issued by police, he was “last seen” in NSW on 16 December 2021. Carroll did not comment about whether any of the suspects had previously been known to police. Locals say he and his wife were well known in the nearby town of Tara, where the two slain officers were stationed. It is unclear what involvement Stacey had in the shooting, but Carroll said all three were suspects. I pay tribute to a neighbour driven by the instinct to help, Alan Dare. She texted information to colleagues about the shooters and told loved ones that she thought she was going to die. In 2020, he moved to Walgett in outback New South Wales – a town with a large Indigenous population. He believed the 1996 Port Arthur massacre – which led to an Australia-wide crackdown on guns – had been a “false-flag operation”. Gareth Train’s online posts – now deleted by the particular site – contain fragments of an origin story. Randall Kirk – whose wife is pregnant with their second child – was grazed by a bullet as he turned and ran back up the driveway. The officers were looking for Gareth’s brother Nathaniel, who had been reported missing.

I’m only speculating that somehow he moved into a relationship with Stacey and Nathaniel moved out, and they were divorced,” Train said. “It’s horrific, there’s no excuse for that. “Gareth, in particular, was obsessed with guns and weapons. The entire situation was “beyond understanding” and added he grieved for the families of the police officers and bystander who were killed in the shooting. Seriously I don’t. The boys went down a “dark track” and Train believes it started when Nathaniel experienced a breakdown, he said in the exclusive interview.
