Top Gear host and former cricketer Andrew “Freddie” Flintoff was injured in an accident this week while filming the BBC show in Surrey.
This is not the first accident Flintoff has had while making the show, nor is it the series’ first. Flintoff received medical care at the scene and was airlifted to a hospital for further treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, the BBC reported.

Flintoff was a talismanic cricketer who captained the England men’s cricket team and was instrumental in fashioning several triumphs. Flintoff was involved in a crash, understood not to be at high speed, at the “Top Gear” test track at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome in Surrey. Flintoff has been a presenter on the show since 2019.
