'Sexy video' at centre of dispute between radio host and cleaner (9Homes)

A "sexy video" is at the centre of a dispute between a Sunshine Coast cleaner and radio host Jess Eva, who ...

I'm bloody sick of it," Eva said. "As Kyla was leaving, she twirls a set of keys around her finger — we don't know if they were the keys to the house — and she twirls it in her (the friend's) face and says go f--- yourself," Eva said. "She's sent me a sexy video, she hasn't cleaned the house," Eva said. "Then she flicked (the friend) the bird on the way out and we've never heard from her again." "She accidentally sent me a video of herself doing a sexy dance on the floor in our master bedroom," Eva said. "My friends saw it and she still texts me saying the house is 'disgusting and I need $200'." The "sexy video" was sent to Eva by cleaner Kyla Hutton on October 18 after Hutton was paid to work on Eva's Sunshine Coast property. "I gave her $650 upfront because I wanted her to know that she wasn't going to get ripped off," Eva said. A friend of Eva's went around to check on the property after dark and asked Hutton for the keys. "Eight hours later, she'd (sent) me all these text messages saying how bad (the house) was and that she needed more money." A "sexy video" is at the centre of a dispute between a Sunshine Coast cleaner and radio host Jess Eva, who claims she paid $650 for a job that never got done. "I paid you to clean, not to get dirty," Eva told A Current Affair.

There was no question for him that this was "the pool area of the day". "The sun lounges, the view, the scale of the pool, the outdoor decking, all of this is just magic," Darren beamed. "The only thing you're missing is a pizza oven." It was clear from the judges' reactions that the pool was well worth the trouble Omar and Oz went through to get it there. "You could just sit in there and look out to the babbling brook," Shaynna noted. "That contrast between the two is astonishing." What Neale was loving the most is "how well the landscape is juxtaposed against the old house". "The contemporary terracing and the old part of the house are married so well together. "Look at all the camellias, that will form a divine hedge at the front to the balustrades," Shaynna noted. And when she turned around she was gobsmacked by the "stunning" spiral topiary tree. [Omar and Oz](https://9now.nine.com.au/omar-and-oz) wanted to end their time on The Block "with a bang". As Neale took it all in he thought the landscaping was "very pretty".

In the final room reveal of the season, The Block's five teams reveal the most extensive landscaping to ever be seen on the show.

There is no question for him that this is “the pool area of the day”. “The sun lounges, the view, the scale of the pool, the outdoor decking, all of this is just magic,” Darren beams. “There is so much happiness and joy here, and they’re definitely selling the dream,” Shaynna says. “It’s hard to believe the house could go to auction in this state,” Neale says. As they wander around to the garage and entrance of the house, the judges are faced with what Shaynna says looks like a “jobsite”. “This is very, very poor planning and actually takes away from the majesty of this house and it does not add value,” Shaynna says. The judges also say the placement of the pool is “illogical”. “The choice of cladding, the choice of textures and colour all works beautifully with the landscape. “We’ve still got to paint the eave and the gable,” Sharon says. “It’s emotional to be honest, it’s the final tools down to get together, we’ve literally done it 12 times and now it’s finally over,” he says. “We’ve got a minute and a half left and we’re just starting to dig the base for this spiral plant,” Oz says. Since this was the ”tree change” series of The Block, landscapes and gardens were always bound to be a big highlight. They didn't disappoint.

“There has been a recent rise in the popularity of modular pools such as shipping-container pools and plunge pools, both for their lower cost as well as their versatility,” Crawford says. “Modern living involves the flexibility to entertain throughout your home and outdoor kitchens are central to this,” Purchase says. “They can be a really satisfying source of food supply and a great way to get kids out into the garden,” she says, and adds that they can be as elaborate or modest as you like. “The last couple of years has seen people reassessing their work-life balance with a growing trend of people wanting to relax at home,” Crawford says. Since this was the “tree change” series of The Block, landscapes and gardens were always bound to be a big highlight. “Pricing of sustainable products has become more competitive in recent years and accessibility for the average homeowner has improved,” he says.
