The ensemble cast of 'White Lotus' season two is giving season one's hotel guests a run for their money.
She will not stand for Rocco flirting in the lobby, for sex workers meeting customers in the hotel, or for an inadequate amount of Prosecco for her guests. Ah, to be wealthy and aggressively unsympathetic to the point of pure bliss. Take it from Cameron and his wife, Daphne—who admitted to not paying attention to the news or voting—ignorance is bliss. To be fair, it does seem obvious that Ethan’s former college roommate, Cameron, is just trying to take advantage of Ethan’s newfound wealth—and invited Ethan and Harper on the trip to pitch some investment opportunities. Season one of Lotus was known for its strong, eclectic ensemble cast, and season two is proving to follow along in the footsteps of its predecessor in that regard as well. [Negroni Sbagliato](https://www.wmagazine.com/culture/emma-darcy-house-of-the-dragon-negroni-sbagliato-with-prosecco-tiktok), though), and she must be forced to even take the glass for a cheers (it’s called optics, hun).

While every new character has their own unique and hilarious personality traits, I want to focus on a trio who looks like they’re going to be a highlight of the second season. Bert is addicted to flirting with women who could be his great-granddaughters, Dominic has a broken marriage, and Albie’s just trying to keep his sanity amongst the family drama. All of these components make The White Lotus a near-perfect mashup of anthology qualities, with themes and textures easily translatable to a whole new cast of characters set against the backdrop of a setting thousands of miles away from the first season. Coolidge is in phenomenal form once again, somehow making the audience sympathize with a selfish millionaire boomer who would typically be the face of the Karen stereotype, making us see her as a misunderstood middle-aged woman looking for her purpose. Freaked out by the circumstances, she alerts the hotel staff, and the audience gets an intimate preview of what type of resort this is. The first season (which was originally supposed to be a stand-alone miniseries) featured some of the best acting of 2021, with performances by Jennifer Coolidge and Murray Bartlett taking home Emmy wins.
Based on the tension between Harper + Ethan and their "friends" Daphne + Cameron, this seems like a solid option. Even in episode 1 it's clear they're really ...
The fun part about White Lotus is that it's a murder mystery that focuses on *who* is murdered, and less on who did the murdering. Based on the tension between Harper + Ethan and their "friends" Daphne + Cameron, this seems like a solid option. [The White Lotus](https://www.cosmopolitan.com/entertainment/tv/a39287169/the-white-lotus-season-2-news-cast-plot-spoilers/) is finally back, and even though the series was only supposed to be a mini, meaning it was a one-and-done situation, the HBO gods decided we all deserved more murder mysteries.
In 'The White Lotus' season 2 premiere episode 'Ciao,' a floating corpse is discovered, and other deaths alluded to. So each week we're checking in to ...
Will he kill? Will they be killed? Will she be killed? Will he be killed? Will she kill? Weirdly, I feel like he will survive this trip? He does not seem like a killer to me. But would having her character be a killer be too obvious a choice?? He seems like someone who might commit a panicked, accidental manslaughter and then go about his day and just be like, Bro, these things happen. She lives to find a body! He could be! [The White Lotus](https://www.vulture.com/tv/the-white-lotus/): Someone will kill, and someone(s) will be killed.
Chaos was unleashed when a body was found floating in the water near the luxury resort, The White Lotus, in Sicily. Valentina, the hotel manager, who was.
Greg closed the door in her face, and she was left with the two macarons in her hand. She was in love with him, but he had to return to his wife and children. A Moor (during the Moors’ influence in Sicily) expressed his love for a local girl, and she reciprocated his feelings. Tanya was a loyal client of White Lotus; she was proud of the fact that she was now a Blossom member of the resort. She had always dreamt of spending her time in Sicily with a hot Italian guy, but here she was, forced to stay in her room. She was rather a little annoyed by the fact that her husband, Greg, was not responding to her texts. When Harper went to her room with Cameron to hand him one of Evan’s shorts, she saw him change his clothes right in the middle of the room. Mia was rather shy; she was a musician and loved a boy who did not treat her well. He walked away to the washroom, criticizing Tanya for eating all the macarons and champagne. She was talking to her mother over the phone, expressing how much she hated her job. They did not bicker over what to order for dinner as he and Harper did; they were always in sync. Cameron and Daphne laughed off Harper’s fear of the end of the world.

She says of representing her native country of Italy with her performance, “Lucia, when I read her character, I thought that she had so much in her and there was so much to portray that I was a little frightened about how that was going to go, but then I trusted Mike [White] and the script and it all flowed and I think it’s very Italian. With both of these actors having an admired legacy in Hollywood, I wondered what it was about The White Lotus season two scripts that made them want to come onboard. I am Jeff Conway, a Forbes Contributor with a focus in the Entertainment Business section. DiMarco says of Albie and Portia, “I think it’s cool that our characters met the old-fashioned way. Coming from a beloved comedy background on the popular television series Parks and Recreation and films like Ingrid Goes West, I asked Plaza how her The White Lotus character is different from previous roles many of us have come to know from her. Beyond that, the words are so strong that it just feels good to do the scenes because the flow is so crystal clear, and he creates this really great environment where you feel like he’s leading you because he knows exactly what he wants, but also tons of work to play - a lot of freedom. For my character, I tried to bring that kind of comedy of it - of like somebody that wants to be understood.” I felt a responsibility to somehow represent my country and I still feel the responsibility.” So, I was feeling also a bit embarrassed to represent Italy in this rough way, but then that was the characteristic of the character. Gries had a similar conversation with White after Coolidge signed on for season two, saying, “I got a text from Mike that just said ‘Are you free in May?’ I said, ‘Sure.’ He said, ‘I’m not going to write this part if you’re not free.’ I said, ‘No, I’ll be there - wherever, anytime, anywhere.’ He goes, ‘Okay, May - Sicily.’ I couldn’t answer. You have sort of made progress and moved on from that and I’d like to take the next step of the relationship with Greg (another returning performance by So, what was the initial conversation like between Coolidge and her fellow Emmy-winning The White Lotus creator/writer/director Mike White in getting her reprise her role for season two?
This season's ensemble of crazy rich Americans are taking their baggage to Italy.
Dom is kind of a bummer (after all, he did just call his ex-wife in an outrageously failed bid to win her back hours prior) and doesn't give Lucia much to work with, conversation-wise. Mia seems intrigued by Lucia's life, but ultimately declines the offer, citing a recent heartbreak as her inability to participate. She reveals to him that she, too, is a musician, aspiring to have a job that allows her to perform in the way he does. "Who's the girl?" More specifically, she tells her jaded attendant to "lay low and not come out of your room." Tanya arriving to the White Lotus with a crap ton of baggage (interpret that how you see fit) and Portia only enrages Greg, who demands that she send her assistant home from their romantic vacation immediately. As Harper rummages through her bag of toiletries in the bathroom, Cameron undresses right behind her—his bare butt in full view and reflecting off the giant, obvious mirror Harper is standing right in front of. Suspicion of their companions only increase when Harper and Cameron venture into her suite alone so that Cameron, who lost his luggage en route to Sicily, may borrow a pair of Ethan's swimming trunks. "Screw around and you’ll end up buried in the garden." But, the identities of the killed and the killer(s?) won't be given to us so easily, and the show takes us back seven days prior, to our ensemble's arrivals. Greeting the guests is Valentina (Sabrina Impacciatore), this season's high-strung, perfectionist hotel manager, who routinely cracks the whip on her band of complacent hirelings. These include married couple Harper (Aubrey Plaza) and Ethan (Will Sharpe), who have been invited for a getaway by Ethan's former college roommate, Cameron (Theo James), and his wife, Daphne (Meghann Fahy).
