Van Gisbergen has totally dominated this year’s championship, notching up a whopping 18 race victories so far that’s allowed him to stretch his championship lead to an almighty 525 points. The two stormed to victory at the 2020 Bathurst 1000. Fifty-six drivers in 28 cars will contest the Great Race this year featuring 25 regular season competitors and three wildcard entries. The #888 Commodore has a great chance to do well at the mountain with the backing of the championship-leading Triple Eight team and one of Supercars’ most decorated driver at the wheel.
