“In terms of mindset, I feel really fresh and ready to get stuck in, so it was a great break, a couple of the niggles are fine. “I think realistically more and more people are going to go down that route for a variety of reasons, so I think we have to be conscious of that,” he told News Corp reporters at Kayo’s summer of cricket launch at the SCG last week. “That World Cup is the time we want to be peaking so I think we’ll find that balance between making sure we’re ready but not overcooked going to the start of the World Cup. “We’ve got to make sure that it remains that way and that’s in scheduling and in payment and in vision of just what it means to be an Aussie cricketer. “I think it’s just us as a sport in Australia to make sure that we’ve got a really strong vision of what we want Australian cricket to look like for the next five, ten years. “We all want to keep Australian cricket as number one, so how can we manage all these different competing interests to try and keep it that way?

He is set to represent Australia in the three-match series, which started on Tuesday in Mohali. It was only recently, where Jimmy Neesham declined the New Zealand national team contract in favour of T20 Leagues. IPL Rebel League: Pat Cummins is one of the most decorated cricketers in the world. Playing for your country, international cricket at the moment is still number one for just about everyone, especially here in Australia, but we can’t just take that for granted. Women's Ashes to feature five-day Trent Bridge Test (cricket.com.au)

The 2023 women's Ashes will see Australia and England go head-to-head at iconic venues including Lord's and The Oval.

The Test match will be England’s women’s first over five days on home soil. First ODI: July 12 at The County Ground, Bristol, 1pm (10pm AEST) Second T20I: July 5 at The Oval, London, 6.35pm (3.35am July 6 AEST) The second one-dayer will be played at Southampton’s Rose Bowl; Australia staged a warm-up camp and played practice games on its outer oval ahead of the 2017 World Cup, but have not played on the main ground since the 2013 Ashes. Australia will then play at Lord’s for the first time since 2013 when the third T20I is held at the Home of Cricket on July 8. But in a shift from the norm, the Test – to be played at Trent Bridge – will be staged across five days rather than the four that has been traditional in the women’s game.
