Walking into Omar and Oz's butler's pantry, Darren said it was "a beautiful example of how to style a kitchen". "Dark", "moody" and "sultry" were just a few of the words the judges used to describe Omar and Oz's kitchen Darren enticed Neale and Shaynna over to what he described as "the best looking fridge of the day". But he thought the kitchen Omar and Oz designed "honours the sophistication and design aesthetic of the V-Zug appliances". The judges thought Omar and Oz's styling "really told a story of the entertaining that would happen". Darren agreed the $250,000 worth of appliances "could've been a curse". Shaynna also thought it was amazing that the boys "created such a feeling of warmth with such a grey palette". Despite it being a country home, the judges thought Omar and Oz's contemporary style suited the architecture of the house completely. Ankur and Sharon's Kitchen (9Homes)

They are almost making the space feel cluttered and smaller than it actually is," he pointed out. "I think the pink is interesting. There's a lot just thrown there," she said. While the judges thought Ankur and Sharon delivered a great kitchen, they thought the coupled lacked in the execution of their design and didn't pay enough attention to styling. Shaynna also liked the way Ankur and Sharon brought in the skirting and the cornice molding to give a hint of the heritage of the old part of the house. "This is just a collection of objects that seem to just be plonked without any thought about the visual impact," Neale said. Shaynna also was a fan of the rose gold accents and the SMEG oven they chose. Making their way to the front of the space, Neale and Shaynna were very impressed with the view back towards the kitchen. "I think the drama of this black works perfectly with the old part of the house with some of the dramatic elements," she revealed. As soon as the judges walked into Ankur and Sharon's kitchen, they admitted it's a "completely different feeling" to their room last week. It's the first time the pair started working in the new pavilion and they felt like it was a "fresh start".
