Melbourne shaken by magnitude-2.4 earthquake in Port Phillip Bay (ABC News)

Residents in Frankston, Langwarrin and Cranbourne report feeling the effects of the magnitude-2.4 earthquake that struck at 5:41am.

The epicentre of the earthquake occurred at a depth of about 6 kilometres. The Bureau of Meteorology confirmed on Sunday morning there was no risk of a tsunami as a result of the earthquake.
