“I believe in community,” Holmes said. “If we could control one (disease) with the treatment, it might slow down the progression,” Holmes said. Rochelle Holmes said the family has yet to hear from insurance on how much of the treatment will be covered, which is why they have sought community support. “I was praying all along that it wasn’t ALS,” Rochelle said. “But I have to keep pressing forward, I have to believe.
