The biannual pilgrimage to the Supernatural Amphitheatre is back on again and the line-up for the 30th Meredith Music Festival is here.

It’s not lost on me that Meredith mainstay Silence Wedge has not yet been announced but I can only assume they’ll join the line-up in the next announcement. This line-up’s a belter and a beautiful way to celebrate the country’s best festival’s 30th lap around the sun on December 9-11. The return to the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre is locked and loaded for the start of summer and now we have a line-up worthy of bringing a spare boot to wave above your head at all times.

The first line-up for Meredith Music Festival 2022 has been announced, ft. Caribou, Yothu Yindi, Tkay Maidza, Courtney Barnett and more.

The first two rounds of tickets for Meredith are made available through a ballot system, which opened last month. The festival’s long-awaited comeback will be held at its usual home of the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre, running over the weekend of Friday December 9 through Sunday 11. This year’s iteration of Meredith will be the first to go ahead since 2019. Today’s announcement (August 18) sees “Aunty Meredith” promise sets from a total of 26 acts, with the line-up set to expand over the coming months. The Comet Is Coming, Dry Cleaning, Tkay Maidza and Sharon Van Etten are also headed to the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre this December.

On hiatus since [2019](https://concreteplayground.com/brisbane/arts-entertainment/music/meredith-music-festival-2019) due to the pandemic, the beloved three-day BYO camping festival in central Victoria will finally return across Friday, December 9–Sunday, December 11. Meredith Music Festival will return to Meredith on Friday, December 9–Sunday, December 11.
