Digimon Survive is the next big launch from Bandai Namco that will be coming to both PC and consoles as the release date is approaching soon.

As a visual novel, Digimon Survive features various tactical and survival elements, where your decisions will have a direct impact on the story’s outcome as well as the destiny of in-game characters. Digimon Survive can only be pre-ordered through its official domain on Bandai Namco, which will give you a number of options. Also, the game will feature some “Search Action” phases where you need to find a way out of critical situations to survive.

The game hasn't been given an official preload for PC just yet, though it is available to pre-order for both PS4 and Nintendo Switch through Bandai Namco's store. That being a tactical role-playing game, with 2D representations of characters during dialogue, similar to visual novels. Digimon Survive, players can jump into a digital world that features visual novel/tactical role-playing elements.

Gazimon can be befriended in the early stages of Digimon Survive's second part, but players will need to know the correct responses in order to do so.

Gazimon can first be found in Part 2 of Digimon Survive, although not until after players have unlocked the "Free Bat." area outside the school. Choosing the best response will reward players with two points and they'll need three or more in total in order to ask Gazimon to be friends. They'll then be faced with three questions or statements and will need to choose the best of four possible responses in order to get in Gazimon's good books. Interestingly, Gazimon uses the same seven lines of dialogue as Gotsumon, though the optimal responses are a little different this time around. This all changes pretty quickly mind, with more and more Digimon showing up as the main story of Digimon Survive progresses. When players reach Part 2, for example, they'll meet several new Digimon out in the Free Battle area near the school.

When players start a new game, they can choose from four options: Difficult, Normal, Easy, and Very Easy. As of the time of writing, it's not confirmed if players will be able to switch difficulty levels during their playthrough. For gamers wondering how long it'll probably take to finish a single playthrough of Digimon Survive, the answer is around 40 hours. Players will spend a lot of time speaking to characters, making decisions, and investigating objects in the environment.
