Showers will develop in the early morning and there is a slight chance of a thunderstorm with gusty winds in the afternoon, according to BOM. Showers will ease on Friday and Saturday, with only 1-2mm of forecasted rain, but intensify again on Sunday with up to 8mm of rain set to drench the city.
