Love Island viewers have shared their theories about Jacques O'Neill's exit as they speculate over whether there was 'more' behind his decision to leave.

Paige began to shed tears as the pair hugged, with Jacques telling her: 'Still enjoy your time in here. Calm down: Paige told him: 'You don't need to rise to it and be like bitey with it. 'You don't need to rise to it and be like bitey with it, do you know what I mean? Do what you need to do. Jacques then pulled Paige for a talk, telling her of Adam: 'Who the f**ks he? I'm not going to fake it. I'm not going to fake it. I don't believe it's fully to do with him not able to be himself. Or discover a dupe from the carousel that'll set you back as little as £29.50. Before he went to pack his bags, Jacques pulled Paige aside and told her: 'I want you to be my girlfriend. Opening up about one's mental health on national TV is a great step forward to normalising these struggles.' A different person said: 'There's obviously much more to Jacques leaving.

Love Island fans are all saying the same thing about Luca and ... (cosmopolitan.com)

Yesterday's Love Island episode was a serious tearjerker, and fans are all saying the same thing about this particular moment between Jacques and Luca.

Luca even told Jacques that if he didn't feel what he felt for Gemma, he would have "walked out that door with him," and that the show "isn't gonna be the same without you." ICYMI, Jacques used to date 19-year-old Gemma Owen - the daughter of footballing legend Michael Owen, but since being in Love Island HQ, she's been getting cosy with Luca. Despite this, the boys have developed their own special bond, and many fans have declared their relationship to be the strongest one in the villa. We'd be lying if we said last night's episode of Love Island *wasn't* emotional after it was revealed that Jacques O'Neill was quitting the show.

For me and Paige to work I need to be at my best and if that means removing myself from the situation and waiting for Paige when she gets out, that's what I'm gonna do, so I'm gonna be leaving now."
