Carol Danvers' fate lies in the hands of powerful Marvel magic users and a trial led by one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's more recent villains.

Not only did Agatha care for Franklin Richards despite the interference of the Frightful Four, she even managed to defeat the villains single-handedly while doing so. - Carol's "crimes" against a powerful foe are coming back to haunt her as Agatha Harkness, helming a tribunal of some of Marvel’s most powerful magic-wielders, puts her on trial. Previously, Agatha served as a mentor of sorts to Wanda, helping her to hone her magic and uncover the truth about her sons Billy and Tommy. Apart from taking the reins of the trial of Captain Marvel, in comics, Agatha has recently been seen interfering in the lives of Marvel's cosmic power couple - Wiccan and Hulkling, the former of which happens to be one of Wanda's reincarnated children. Agatha has also forged a close relationship with Wanda over the years. Back on Earth, in the midst of a spiraling identity crisis, Binary’s skills are put to the test when she must aid Spider-Woman in protecting humans against themselves. Thankfully for Carol, she has none other than Wanda Maximoff aka the Scarlet Witch acting in her defense, though it seems that even Wanda's impossible powers have been tapered back ahead of the trial.
