The WWE Money in the Bank event featured two huge ladder matches with a valuable contract on the line along with four title matches rounding out the card.

Dawkins with a punch to both Usos, Ford tagged in and Jimmy saved Jey. The Usos sent Dawkins into the ring post and The Usos hit a double superkick for a two count. Jimmy tried a suplex on the apron, but Ford blocked it and Ford suplexed Jimmy on the apron. Jey tagged in with a chinlock on Ford to ground him on the mat. The Usos hit the 1D on Ford and Jimmy covered Ford for the pinfall win after 23 minutes. Jimmy tagged in with a jumping punch on Dawkins. Jimmy choked Dawkins across the middle rope and Jey hit a cheap shot punch. Theory grounded Lashley with a chinlock for about a minute, then Theory with a knee to the ribs and more chinlock work by Theory. Lashley went for a Hurt Lock attempt, but Theory got out of it. Theory set up Lashley on the top rope, Theory tried a move there, but Lashley blocked it and Theory came back with a kick. Raquel stopped an Asuka climb, then Asuka fought back and Raquel hit Asuka with a lefty clothesline on the floor. Lynch hit her more with her backside and it wasn’t a leg drop through the ladder, but Lynch slid off while bumping to the floor.

WWE Money in the Bank presents WWE with a rare opportunity to potentially dethrone Roman Reigns, something that has not even come close to happening since his reign began in August of 2020. The fact that the winner is Theory adds fuel to that fire given Vince McMahon's elusive co-sign. Drew McIntyre has all but promised he will be Roman Reigns’ opponent for September’s Clash at the Castle premium live event in Cardiff, Wales, WWE’s first pay-per-view in the United Kingdom in 30 years. That would be a match, atmosphere-wise, that people would always remember.” Though Reigns is SmackDown’s biggest needle mover, there was clearly interest in Riddle chasing the WWE Universal Championship. “My dream situation is fighting for the title against Roman at the UK show.

good on WWE for going with a young guy who is new to the main event scene! It’s time for the Men’s Money In The Bank. And I have NO IDEA who is going to win this, though the pre-show made the ENTIRE STORY about Riddle, so… I’m spending almost the entirety of this match trying to figure out what the problem is with my computer. I thought adding him to this contest was just a red herring, but it’s not. The ones that are too wet, and the ones that are too dry. 9:51pm: The Usos won, and the match did pick up dramatically in the back end, so that is nice. I definitely thought Theory was going to walk out with the belt. I guess it’s the first color change she has had since she came to the main roster. I can put aside all the work I have for four hours a month to enjoy these. And I barely know who is in those. This is another WWE PPV that I did not realize was happening until I found out the day before. Also: I love you, and I want to know how your day is going, too!

Please see the women's MITB recap above. It was better than any storyline-deficient tag team match from the Forbidden Door. This was a well-deserved feel-good moment for Liv. This match was unbelievable. The Usos Following Bianca Belair's win, Carmella started beating her down, leading to a buzz throughout the crowd as fans expected Liv Morgan to possibly cash in. - The Street Profits vs. Lashley winning was a surprise, especially considering WWE is "heating up" Theory for Cena. As of this writing, the event is a near sellout in its new home. Becky Lynch winning would have made MITB seem like a prop in a Becky Lynch storyline. This was a tremendous, old-fashioned babyface vs. Last week’s broadcast of SmackDown garnered 2.231 million coming off a massive number the week prior.

- The Usos vs. Peacock is now touching down internationally, landing in the United Kingdom and Ireland recently. Who knows how soon the WWE content will filter over. The women's Money in the Bank ladder match is slightly less interesting. Peacock is now available on most of the best streaming devices. That includes shows like 30 Rock, The Voice, Battlestar Galactica, Law & Order: SVU and This Is Us. Tonight, sports entertainment fans watch WWE Money in the Bank live streams online to see if the company manages to do it again. ExpressVPN (opens in new tab) can access more than 3,000 servers spread out across 160 locations in 94 countries. You might want to check out a VPN if you can't watch with the service you normally use. Our picks for the rest of the card are below. Now, the men's Money in the Bank ladder match participants are Madcap Moss, Riddle, Seth "Freakin" Rollins, Drew McIntyre, Omos, Sheamus and Sami Zayn. All but Moss, Sheamus and Omos seem to have a puncher's chance. Rollins, though, seems like the best pick for our buck.

Jey and Dawkins exchange blows to the face, Jey gets in a superkick. Sami scrambles over him and gets to the top but Madcap recovers and BANG! Sami powerbombed right onto the ladder. But Dawkins gets a slap in and may have a chance to get Tez back in there. She gets to the top and gets the briefcase! Something wakes in the champ and she hits back, and immediately gets the challenger up in the air. He also wasn't afraid to get a couple of fingers in the challenger's eyes, but in the end Bobby Lashley had too much power and too much hunger. Lashley tries a rollup but Theory gets out and slides Lashley into the turnbuckle, following it up with a drop kick for two. RR gets Asuka up but can't get her ontothe ladder and Asuka counters into an armbar Becky breaks it up and then Asuka is prone on the ladder. Money In The Bank 2022 Winners And Losers: It's All About Liv ... (TheSportster)

Liv Morgan wins a contract and cashes in to win, plus all the other winners and losers from Money in the Bank.

For a lot of fans, that happened at Money in the Bank. Jimmy and Jey were only half responsible, of course. Coming off the back of two great matches also didn't help, but the biggest thing going against this bout was what it was meant to be had it not been for Rhea Ripley's injury. Bobby Lashley versus Theory had the makings of a filler match, especially after the terrific bout that opened the show. The match itself was also pretty great, and while Morgan should be the proudest of all, everyone involved in this match should be happy with the effort they put in this evening. Money in the Bank kicked off with the women's ladder match after which the premium live event is named. That doesn't mean Money in the Bank isn't one of WWE's biggest shows of the year, though.

The match kicked off with Omos, standing 7-foot-3, imposing his superior size and strength on the competition. He cleaned house, using a ladder as a weapon.

Dawkins then delivered a Corkscrew Neckbreaker on Jimmy. Dawkins plowed through both Usos on the outside with a monster shoulder tackle before he later teamed up with Ford for a slam of Jimmy for the first false finish of the match. Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford performed a double-team Suplex into a Frog Splash onto Jey Uso before Jimmy Uso later hit Dawkins with a Suicide Dive. The Usos then double-Suplexed Dawkins into the turnbuckle post on the outside. Morgan made her appearance to stop her ascent and set up another ladder next to Lynch's. Lynch tried to tip her ladder over, but Morgan stopped the fall by pushing off the top rope and took out Lynch. Morgan then grabbed the briefcase and cried tears of happiness as the Las Vegas crowd popped in a major way. That left Rodriguez alone atop the ladder, but Shotzi stopped her and threw her in a Tree of Woe on the ladder. The match kicked into high gear earlier when Theory went to work with a series of elbows, followed by an extended chin lock after a Superkick took Lashley off the top turnbuckle. Theory then raked Lashley's eyes to escape a Powerslam before he hit Lashley with the All-Mighty's own finisher, the spear. Riddle then hit Rollins with a Super RKO off the top of the ladder. Sheamus climbed and reached for the briefcase, but Drew powered out from under the ladder and hit Butch with a Claymore. McIntyre and Sheamus battled it out at the top of the ladder until Zayn tipped them over, sending them crashing into a nearby ladder laid across a turnbuckle. With a pile of women now stacked on the ladder bridge, Lynch connected with a Springboard Splash onto all of them. Riddle and Madcap fought at the top of the ladder under the briefcase before Omos interjected and Powerslammed Riddle. Omos then Chokeslammed Theory and began the climb up the ladder before he was stopped by McIntyre and Moss. They knocked Omos outside the ring with a Double Clothesline. Finally, Sheamus hit Drew with a knee while he was still in the sleeper before he then pinned McIntrye under the ladder. Moss pulled Theory off the ladder and hit a Fallaway Slam before he Powerbombed Zayn onto a ladder.

Money In The Bank 2022: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best (TheSportster)

The 2022 edition of WWE's Money In The Bank has come and gone. What were the best matches of the pay-per-view?

The match started slow and methodical, with The Usos working at a pace like Roman Reigns. But that was because they were given tons of time, and things steadily built up throughout. In the end, it was the late entrant Theory who won it, taking out Riddle after a match filled with carnage, great spots, and smart storytelling. The men did just edge things when it comes to the battle of the ladder matches this year, with a great encounter between many top stars. There were counters on display throughout, and that played into the finish with Lashley slipping out of the A-Town Down to set up the Hurt Lock for the win in a fun encounter. This one was all about the moment, and that was certainly an epic one, but the match wasn't memorable. This got a major reaction and seeing her capture the title was an amazing thing to witness, but in terms of a match, there wasn't much to write about.

The women's Money in the Bank field consisted of Becky Lynch, Lacey Evans, Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss, Raquel Rodriguez, Asuka and Shotzi.

In addition to Morgan, who has never held a championship in her career, upstart Raquel Rodriguez, Shotzi and Lacey Evans are also chasing their first championship win on the main roster. - Asuka Even though Becky Lynch led the field, listed at +150 to win, WWE’s storyline of Lynch’s mental lapses and string of losses made her a very risky and vulnerable favorite.

Best and Worst Booking Decisions of WWE Money in the Bank 2022 ... (Bleacher Report)

Bobby Lashley defeated Theory by submission to win the United States Championship. Bianca Belair retained the Raw Women's Championship over Carmella by pinfall.

Having The Usos retain, but only by a bad call, was a great way to prolong this. Originally, this match was supposed to have a stipulation The Street Profits could choose, but WWE never followed through with that. - In a digital exclusive, Happy Corbin attacked Pat McAfee after the show. Carmella slotting in wasn't giving off vibes that the title would change hands, but WWE could have easily done a swerve for the sake of shock value and had Carmella score an upset. It will just be an active choice and not something that WWE can afford to passively hope will naturally happen on its own. But now that he has a belt of his own, it is also a good excuse for why he's not in the main event scene, allowing Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre and others to have their moments. Unfortunately, what could be considered a bad booking decision was to have Carmella attack Belair after the match, signaling this feud isn't over. The All Mighty wasn't able to get back the WWE Championship earlier this year, but this is a fine consolation prize. Sometimes, that results in the match immediately being restarted. Others have held a belt while being Mr. Money in the Bank, but one often gets sidelined while the other is focused on. After all, the past few years have seen her come up short in all her most important matches, so it was easy to assume that trend would continue. WWE Money in the Bank 2022 will certainly go down as an historic event.

Booking a babyface to win a title in a heel-ish way as a plot convenience rarely works out well for the babyface and the decision to have Rousey embrace Morgan after Morgan essentially stole the title from her undercuts the title’s importance. Besides, it’s nice to see WWE moments that aren’t comprised of HEEEEAAAAAT. However, we actually saw a more back-and-forth outing from these two, though it also meant we had to sit through an extended Theory rest hold portion. The match itself struggled to live up to the high standards set by previous ladder matches, but even if the workrate disappointed you, seeing Morgan retrieve the briefcase and the coveted women’s championship match contract inside surely brought a smile to your face. Now, there are plenty of issues to critique about this cash-in. Consequently, WWE significantly scaled back the hype for this show.
