It's highly unlikely that any of the main cast members are going to split before Stranger Things wraps itself up for good, so it's expected that they're all set to return for season 5. For now, the Stranger Things season 5 plot is firmly under wraps, but the Duffer Brothers have teased that they have the whole series' conclusion pretty firmly mapped out. Joseph Quinn, who was introduced as Eddie Munson in season 4, recently told The Guardian (opens in new tab) that he'd love to see the leader of the Dungeons & Dragons' loving Hellfire Club return in season 5. Considering how Stranger Things season 5 has yet to start filming, it's safe to assume we've got a little bit of a wait before the next chapter arrives. We don't yet have a confirmed cast list for Stranger Things season 5 but we'd expect all the surviving central characters to be back for more. Another thing we know is that season 5 is likely to feature a time jump, as Ross Duffer previously told TVLine: "I'm sure we will do a time jump. Seasons 1 to 3 all released their entire seasons in one go, while season 4 released in two volumes, with volume 1 containing seven episodes and volume 2 containing two. Season 3 took two years to arrive, while season 4 took 3 years, although this was in part due to delays from the COVID-19 pandemic. It has, so you don't need to worry that the series will be left on a cliffhanger. It proved too large to tell in four, but – as you’ll soon see for yourselves – we are now hurtling toward our finale.
