Reports indicated that Ezra Miller's time as The Flash may be nearing an end in the DCEU.
Although Miller has some support from coworkers in the industry, there are some potentially dark days ahead with regard to the actor's future and that of Warner Bros.' DC division. Regardless of whether that happens, there's no denying that both the studio and Miller are in some serious trouble, particularly with such a significant movie on the table. This led to rumors that Warner Bros. was looking at their options concerning Miller as Barry Allen, although the company firmly denied that there was any substance to those reports that same week. Most recently, the film's leading star mysteriously deleted their Instagram page after sharing a barrage of memes in reaction to accusations of grooming, and the situation grows more troublesome seemingly by the day. According to the insider source: Unfortunately, after countless delays and personnel changes, the movie now appears to be in more trouble than ever before thanks to lead star Ezra Miller's off-screen issues.

That would mean replacing him in the future, but there is still a $200 million investment on the line with the first film and Warner Bros execs have to be cringing at each new press report." The saga is far from over. Indeed ... they hedged on the off chance WB keeps them around. Not only have the parents of 18-year-old activist Tokata Iron Eyes filed for a protection order against them -- albeit, without success as they can't find Ezra to serve them -- but a second protective order was reportedly issued this past week in favor of the mother of a 12-year-old child out of Massachusetts ... who has her own claims against them. Essentially, Warner is praying no more negative headlines emerge about EM ... but on the issue of the ones that have surfaced thus far -- a source told Deadline, "There is no winning in this for Warner Bros. This is an inherited problem for Zaslav. The hope is that the scandal will remain at a low level before the movie is released, and hope for the best to turn out." The 'Flash' star is said to be getting the boot after this final time starring as Barry Allen in the yet-to-be-released flick (which is already in the can) -- meaning they won't reprise the role going forward in the DCEU ... this according to Deadline, which seems to have softened its position, but is still suggesting they're a goner.

This isn’t the only controversy that DC is dealing with at the moment. Presumably, if these troubles continue, DC will be unlikely to continue working with Miller in the future. I would imagine WB is going to opt for the one that costs the least and does the least amount of damage, and I would imagine recasting and reshooting the entire thing is just not in the cards. Obviously Miller is probably not going to be doing traditional press rounds for the movie, but even in like, future trailers and posters, you cut their presence down or just keep them masked in the suit as often as possible. Even if they do want to keep DCEU continuity, The Flash dipping into the multiverse would be the perfect avenue for recasting anyway. Digitally replace Miller – Okay, so, you go all 2022 and use digital technology to deepfake your way out of the problem, cutting out Miller where you can, and instead of reshoots, digitally replacing them with another actor. Scrap the movie – Keep in mind, this movie is already filmed. It’s because of what can only be described as a “Hawaiian crime spree” where bizarre, often violent behavior from Miller has resulted in several arrests and restraining orders, and one serious, disputed charge of grooming a minor.
The saga of Warner Bros.' upcoming Flash movie has been a long one, and in recent weeks, much of it has revolved around its lead actor, Ezra Miller.
Miller first joined the DC machine back in 2016 with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and later became attached to WB’s Fantastic Beasts franchise as one of its key characters. During all of this, Warner Bros. has remained silent, with Deadline stating that the studio’s initial plan was to wait things out and hope that more allegations or headline-grabbing news wouldn’t surface. But as more press has come out about the 29-year-old nonbinary actor, it appears that WB’s plans for the actor once Flash hits have taken a change.

'There's evidence that Miller was the subject of 10 different calls to Hawaii law enforcement,' the papers allege. 'Tokata had read all the available Harry Potter books and was/is enamored by the fantasy/celebrity of Ezra Miller at all times during her still formative years as a young adolescent. 'And then she starred rambling about the KKK, pedophiles and medicine. Tokata, her father and Ezra are pictured in December 2021 when the actor came to visit Perhaps most disturbingly, Miller spoke about the mother's 12-year-old child: 'I've talked extensively with your child, and they have a lot of power to them. That would mean replacing him in the future, but there is still a $200 million investment on the line with the first film and Warner Bros execs have to be cringing at each new press report.'
