REECE WALSH HAS HAD A SHOCKER! The kick from Ramien sat up on the tryline, the young fullback juggles it about 5 times before he loses it backwards in goal.

'Spectacular athletics': Warriors flyer's ridiculous try and Sharks kick away — NRL LIVE.

The Sharks welcome Jesse Ramien back into their side in a huge boost, forming a scary partnership with Sione Katoa on the right side of the field. “The Sharks are shellshocked, the bounce-back factor of Stacey Jones.” “The Warriors are off and running,” Andrew Voss said. “The Stacey Jones era is here,” Voss said. “The Redcliffe Leagues club has erupted,” Andrew Voss said. Warriors winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak kicked off the second half scoring, soaring high to ground the ball over winger Ronaldo Mulitalo, before he scored a try of his own in bizarre fashion.

Wingin' it: Mulitalo, Katoa cash in as Sharks sink Warriors (NRL.COM)

Wingers Ronaldo Mulitalo and Sione Katoa bagged five tries between them as the Sharks downed the Warriors 38-16 at Moreton Daily Stadium on Sunday.

we've all had some inconsistent periods across the team but when we put it together and we compete hard, we were physically there tonight but but mentally we wobbled in and out of the game but I'm also understanding of the fact that game was so stop-start it was really hard to get into any rhythm, largely due to our discipline." the Warriors winger scored an absolute cracker in the 53rd minute when he flew through the air to plant the bal down in the corner. Watene-Zelezniak took off five metres from the goal line and did brilliantly to control the ball as he came back to earth to touch down for the 60th try of his career. After a slow start in Redcliffe the Sharks attack clicked into gear and wingers Mulitalo and Sione Katoa continued their tussle for top tryscorer honours. His first try in the 24th minute was laid on beautifully by five-eighth Matt Moylan, who is racking up plenty of try assists and line break assists in an impressive season alongside Nicho Hynes in the halves. The Eels and Titans piled on 48 points in the opening 40 minutes in round one at CommBank Stadium.

Interim Warriors coach Stacey Jones watched his side commit the same mistakes they made under Nathan Brown in a 38-16 NRL loss to Cronulla.

“I want to win some footy games, I just want to win and compete every week and be in the game but I want to win some footy games, I want this club to win footy games. I tried to keep things as simple as possible during the week with attack stuff and it showed for that first part but then we fell back to some habits that we’ve got to get out of this team right now. “I’m not happy about letting teams off the hook consistently. “We got off to a good start and then it was a familiar outcome that was happening. “I love this club. We make an error and our resilience to defend that was not there.

'It's embarrassing': Warriors slump to sixth straight defeat (New Zealand Herald)

"We start good then we go to crap," Josh Curran told Sky Sport after the game. "We just need to put an 80-minute performance together. "Everyone needs to ...

Fullback Reece Walsh had a forgettable night after running in the first try of the match and throughout the contest, their inability to slow down the Sharks play-the-ball and a few bad errors saw the Warriors take themselves out of the contest. After not getting the ball for what would have been a sure try moments earlier, Watene-Zelezniak took to the heavens to score a try out wide with a spectacular diving finish. So, things were looking up – until the Sharks got going again. A passive first-half defence was exemplified by Shaun Johnson allowing Sharks winger Ronaldo Mulitalo to run the ball closer to the posts on the first of his two tries rather than make him put the ball down out wide. "We just need to put an 80-minute performance together. Like reruns of Friends, their season has gotten to a point where you know what's coming when you tune in.

Big Warrior rushed to hospital with sickening injury (Wide World of Sports)

Ben Murdoch-Masila was taken to hospital as the Warriors slumped to defeat in Redcliffe against the Sharks,...

The injury occurred midway through the first half as he tried to make a tackle on Sharks fullback Will Kennedy and got his arm pinned in an awkward position. It's been a tough season for Murdoch-Masila on the injury front, having previously missed several weeks as a result of a hip-drop tackle by Brisbane's Thomas Flegler in April. The incident basically marked a complete 180 in the Warriors fortunes, as they raced out to a 12-0 lead before going on to lose 38-16.
