He does have a connection to Russia in the comics. If it’s like the comics, Nina has a relationship with Vought. Who knows, we saw Love Sausage in season 2 of The Boys. Maybe he’s we to Russia after he escaped the supe prison. The next time we see The Boys they’ll be in Russia in search of answers about a weapon that could take out Soldier Boy. In The Boys comic, Little Nina was a dangerous woman on an international level. Where and when can you stream The Boys season 3 episode 4? Billy Butcher, Frenchie, Marvin Milk, Kimiko, and Hughie are on the hunt for a weapon that can kill Homelander. Something that powerful shouldn’t exist.

Stand warns Homelander that he isn’t worthy of his respect, that he is a bad product, and soon enough, everyone will come to realise that. The Female likens Billy to the man she has just killed, claiming that he never treats her and Frenchie like actual people. The Deep and A-Train come to odds, and sure enough, they begin fighting. Stan wants Neuman to go after Homelander and remind him who is in charge. With a few story developments in the closing ten minutes, there’s plenty for the audience to look forward to. "The Boys," Season 3: Episode 4 is all about new alliances, while Billy accidentally releases Soldier Boy from his long captivity in Russia.
Homelander may have gotten rid of Stan Edgar for the time being, but he will not be going away for long and will probably strike back with all his might. But Neuman didn’t want to offend Homelander as she was concerned for her daughter Zoe’s safety, and hence, she made a pact with Homelaner. In exchange for helping Homelander and opening a public inquiry on Stanford Edgar for his fraudulent practices in Vought, she requested Homelander to bring her a vial of Compound V, which she injected into her daughter in order to turn her into a supe just like her so that she would be able to protect herself from all adversaries in the future. Hughie got excited too and used his temporary superpowers that established the fact that he had injected himself with Compound V24. After the Russians were dealt with, Butcher curiously opened the door to a protected chamber, and inside it found Soldier Boy with a thick beard and an oxygen mask on his face. Frenchie discovered that Kimiko wasn’t healing from Soldier Boy’s attack and thus decided to rush her to the hospital to save her life, but we didn’t know whether she would survive or not. The Russian soldiers opened fire on the team, and as soon as Butcher found his men cornered, he quickly revealed his temporary superpowers to protect his comrades. She wanted to leave the team then and there, but Hughie requested she stay put and buy some time for them as he was on a mission to find an ultimate supe-weapon called “B.C.L. R.E.D.” that could probably kill Homelander and eliminate all their miseries with a single blow. Little did he know about A-train and Deep’s history, who would betray anyone at any time just to stay in “The Seven.” And this time, it was Homelander who was pulling the strings in the management; thus, A-train didn’t waste a moment and snitched upon Starlight and Supersonic. Homelander brutally killed Supersonic on the top of the terrace to curb the rebellion and gave an ultimate warning to Starlight that if she wouldn’t stop plotting against him, then his next target would be Hughie. Nevertheless, coming back to the mission to get the ultimate weapon, Butcher made a deal with Frenchie’s ex-boss, Little Nina. Earlier in Episode 3, Cherie stole some 11 kilos of drugs from Nina and ran away using fake passports created by Frenchie, and soon after her escape, Nina called Frenchie to her bakery to threaten him. In “The Boys” Season 3: Episode 4, Homelander went to the Cameron Coleman talk show and tried to become a whistler-blower, hinting at revealing the names of the powerful men in the management who had been pulling the strings all along. The reason being, Edgar knows that Homelaner is the face of Vought International and their most valued asset and thus can’t be easily kicked out, while for Homelander, going against Edgar means going against the corporation that signs his cheques and pays for his million dollar P.R. system, and we all know how much Homelander craves attention and validation. The C.E.O. of Vought International, Edgar and Homelander have been fighting like cats and dogs since forever, and though they hate each other the most, none of them tried to attack each other directly. Other than the internal politics of “The Seven,” the episode also brings forth Butcher’s brutish behavior towards his comrades that may force many to leave the team.
The Boys lead Antony Starr talks about one of Homelander's influences, former U.S. President Donald J. Trump.
It's to be seen, though, if all of The Boys' audience finds this amusing or not. On the other hand, I think it’s tragic that there’s so much material available at the moment to satirize. The Boys is no stranger to political reference or parody, and The Boys season 3 episode 4 just made it all a bit more literal, as a few of Homelander's latest lines sounded especially familiar. And Starr's words ring true after a moment in The Seven's board room at Vought Tower from The Boys' latest episode. But before you go further, take this spoiler warning for The Boys season 3 episode 4. Tom’s Guide attended a press roundtable promoting The Boys season 3 where Starr was asked about how his character is parodying the far right.
The Boys season 3, episode 4's release has been delayed on Prime Video for some users. Here's what's going on and where it's available to watch.
As it stands, Fire TV Stick is the only verified way of watching The Boys season 3, episode 4 online until Prime Video's technical difficulties are resolved. Amazon's official social media channels have responded to various tweets on the matter of The Boys season 3, episode 4 delay. However, another response to a question on episode 4 dropping stated that announcements "haven't been made." The Boys season 3 released on Prime Video on June 3, 2022, with three episodes dropping at once to pick up the story of Billy Butcher (Karl Urban), Homelander (Antony Starr), and co. The issue doesn't appear to have affected everyone, but a lot of subscribers have reported problems with the episode not releasing in various territories, including the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom (which Screen Rant can verify at the time of writing). The Seven mutiny is over before it even began. A recap of 'Glorious Five Year Plan,' episode 4 of the third season of 'The Boys' on Amazon Prime Video.
Not a great deal for Neuman, I have to say, but I suppose the threat of Homelander lasering her and her whole family was a significant factor. The idea of Homelander as the head of Vought is intriguing to me; the more power he has, the more he has to lose, which should make his fall all the more delicious. (It’s still not the most memorable use of a dildo in the episode.) What unites this story and the other main story of the episode is the shared focus on team dynamics. I call the reveal a bombshell because it is shocking — this season has slowly set Alex up as a potential love interest, even in this episode, but his life (and story arc) got cut short. Hopefully giving Hughie (and maybe others?) V24 will be the shot in the arm (pun intended) these stories need in the second half of the season. So much is happening, but there’s little time to dwell on the emotional significance of these revelations. But it is even more distressing to the group that the typically by-the-books Hughie took the temp V, too — it comes out when he nakedly teleports a few yards forward, punching a hole through a man’s torso. All of these stories come together nicely at the climax, when the Boys break into the lab and security inevitably arrives for a big shootout. It’s a handy bit of strategic sentimentality on Butcher’s part, but there’s a deeper implication: Butcher plays the hard-ass authoritarian role when shit needs to get done, while Mother’s Milk is the real glue, a moral compass who can hold the group together like he did with his platoon. It’s only minutes later that Nina has leveraged her Kremlin connections to find the lab they’re looking for, and all of a sudden the elusive Soldier Boy–killing weapon seems shockingly attainable. After a few installments gradually reuniting the Boys and developing their goals, both individually and as a group, “Glorious Five Year Plans” gives us our first real Boys mission of the season.
The new The Boys episode coming out today on Amazon was delayed, causing fans of the series to have to wait as the site experienced technical difficulties.
Fans patiently (and impatiently) waited hours for the show to finally appear. The Boys fans were thrown for a loop early this morning when they went to Amazon Prime and couldn't find the new episode of the hit series. Kindly stay tuned to Amazon Prime Video for further updates."
Season 3, Episode 4 of The Boys continues to offer up some truly impressive and outrageous scenes while adding to the tension of future events.
Of course, the show does once again offer a glimmer of hope for those that are thinking there might be a way to really take Homelander down. The series continues doing an outstanding job making it seem as if he's naive in specific ways, only to eventually divulge that he's one step ahead of everyone else. The fact that Edgar is devoting the resources of Vought to trying to knock the superhero down a peg seems like it could be a step in the right direction. In some regards, it appears that things are actually unfolding in a way that could end Homelander's reign of terror. Meanwhile, Hughie is trying to find a way to no longer work for Victoria Neuman after discovering that she has superpowers and has killed an awful lot of people. That's really not much of a spoiler as it's something that tends to happen a couple of times in every episode.
Just how far would you be willing to go to stop a maniacal Supe like Homelander?
Whether there will be time remains to be seen – there’s no knowing where this mission’s going now that a certain someone’s on the scene. The Boys season 3 is airing weekly on Prime Video – check out our guide to the release schedule here to make sure you don’t miss a moment. The writers also struggle with how to balance the show’s plethora of characters. It’s Anthony Starr’s performance as the unhinged hero that leaves me at a crossroads: I want Butcher to succeed, yet it’s hard to imagine this show without Homelander’s omniscient threat lingering over them. 'Glorious Five Year Plan' tracks Billy Butcher’s (Karl Urban) team as they travel to Russian to find a mysterious weapon that could take down the maniacal leader of the Seven. Even he can’t stop Butcher from falling further wayward due to Temp V, the effects of which are more than just some green vomit.
The latest episode of The Boys holds nothing back as hamsters, limited edition dildoes, and strongman punches ensure there's no shortage of violence.
Hughie for Starlight, Starlight for Hughie, Butcher for Ryan, Frenchie for Kimiko, Homelander for himself, The Deep (Chace Crawford) for his spot in The Seven, A-Train (Jessie T. Usher) for his late-stage activism — Kripke's packing the powder keg even tighter, which is already bursting at the bolts. Edgar is still the colder son-of-a-gun in the room for all of Homelander's physical threats and American nightmarishness. Both The Seven and The Boys are in shambles under Homelander and Butcher. "Glorious Five Year Plan" ruptures relationships between Butcher's roster that M.M. warns may be irreparable, while Starlight and Queen Maeve (Dominique McElligott) gear up for a mutiny with the aid of Butcher's secret weapon (yet to be obtained). Characters endure soul-crushing tortures, have their failures rubbed in their faces, are picked back upright, then shoved right back to the ground — and yet The Boys isn't about hopelessness. Between The Boys opening Season 3 with Termite graphically exploding through his lover's penis, the impending "Herogasm" in Episode 6, and the death by dildoes in "Glorious Five Year Plan," showrunner Eric Kripke's putting the "O" in "superhero" these days. The difference here, and what The Boys is doing better by the episode, is that it emphasizes the consequences of violent attacks and the emotional responses to the corpses that pile sky high. The Boys asserts itself as far more than a display of barbaric acts of random violence carried out by the world's most sadistic anti-heroes, which adds an element of engagement to Season 3 that wasn't as prominent thus far.

The Boys season 3, episode 4 review: "Glorious Five Year Plan" highlights daddy issues and generational problems that are passed down.
Edgar is a man who exploited Homelander to great financial success, who built a media empire around the spectacle and the mythology of this monster, in the hopes of controlling it. “This is a superhero company,” Homelander boasts as he deposes the CEO. “Always has been. Homelander is the paranoid and lunatic fringe of modern far-right resentment politics, while Edgar is the political establishment that hoped to harness that fringe’s popularity, only to wind up devoured and defeated by it. “Glorious Five Year Plan” suggests parents pass down their flaws to their children, that their flaws curse both themselves and the people that matter most to them. Simon Pegg, who was the original model for the comic book version of Hughie but concedes that he is too old to play the role in live action, reprised the role of Hughie’s father in the season premiere for the first time since the first season. The Boys hasn’t always capitalized on Giancarlo Esposito as one of modern television’s best actors, but “Glorious Five Year Plan” allows the performer to play a tragedy in miniature. Behavior and dialogue cues flow down from the top of the pyramid. “Glorious Five Year Plan” refocuses on the absence of a male parental figure, suggesting that he looked to Vought CEO Stanley Edgar (Giancarlo Esposito) as a potential surrogate. Ryan is absent from “Glorious Five Year Plan,” but Homelander still inspires his own generation of emulators. As in the premiere, The Boys suggests that its heroes and villains are not as different from one another as they might like to think. After all, at the risk of stating the obvious, the title of The Boys suggests a certain youthfulness. It is perhaps one of the reasons that Eric Kripke’s television adaptation is a more holistically satisfying experience than Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson’s source material.

She tells him that she realized that she’s been the one protecting him all of these years, not the other way around, and now she needs to look out for her daughter. Hughie walks in on him while he’s doing it and tells him that he wants to try it, too, but Butcher won’t let him. He tells her that if she steps out of line again, Hughie is next. She pays a visit to Alex next and tells him that they may have found a way to take down Homelander, and he assures her that he’ll be on their side when the time comes. Meanwhile, Hughie is caught in a daze, admiring the way his arm glows from the V-24. He points out that there’s nobody left to cover for Homelander at Vought now, and he’s not worthy of his respect. As the others go to leave, A-Train and The Deep argue in the hallway and are stuck at a stalemate because they both have incriminating evidence on one another. She holds her daughter close as she wails in pain after injecting her with the drug. Ashley cuts in to inform Homelander that Victoria Neuman is holding a press conference about him. She gets back up once her body rejects the bullet and is on the verge of retaliating. Annie shows Hughie the #Homelight footage from American Hero.
