Police are still filling in the "pieces of the puzzle" after missing Sydney boy Christopher Wilson was found safe and well this morning.

The 11-year-old was first reported missing when he didn't return home after getting off a school bus on Annangrove Road about 3pm on Wednesday. "It looks like he went on a little bit of an adventure yesterday afternoon," Batchelor said. It was the same road Christopher was last seen on yesterday evening, but this time he was walking back towards home, instead of toward Rouse Hill, Batchelor said.
