It registered a magnitude of 2.9 - earlier reported as 3.0 - and is believed to have originated from a depth of 10km, the body said. The authority had initially reported its epicentre as Kilcoy in the Somerset region, west of the Glasshouse Mountains between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.
