Chaos has unfolded at a busy Melbourne intersection after a suspicious blaze took hold of strip club Goldfingers on Tuesday morning.

The northbound lanes of King Street have been re-opened between Bourke Street and La Trobe Street, however the southbound lanes of King Street, as well as Lonsdale Street between William and Spencer streets, remain closed as investigations continue. Due to the investigation, police warn there will be “major delays as the intersection will be closed to traffic and pedestrians for some time”. A crime scene has been set up at the intersection as fire investigators work to determine the cause of the blaze.
