You can have an awesome liberal guy in one electorate and a dud in another …same as Labor …in my personal view, we have 3 out of 7 good candidates in our area…a great one nation person, a good national and a UAP who would be good in the senate to watch people and make them behave …the smartest and best qualified goes in spot 1…etc…in an electorate next to ours a Labor person might be the best, or a liberal Democrat , independent etc etc…just read their statement on their pages and identify with them in order and choose… Don’t waste your vote….it’s easy to click onto the people running in your electorate and have a read of each ones website….put in your post code in the electorate search …takes a few minutes for each. The electorate has voted in a Liberal candidate at every election since 1996. On the UAP website, Mr Kelly said he had become “disillusioned by the Liberal Party during his time in office" and the pandemic response had "deeply eroded his faith in Australia’s government, as he saw, in real time, our freedoms being ripped away". He initially entered politics as a member of the Liberal Party and was elected into the House of Representatives in 2010 in the seat of Hughes. But since his last success in 2019, the country has dealt with a pandemic. By the end of February 2021, Mr Kelly had quit the Liberal Party to become an independent MP. After a dicey career in the House of Representatives, Craig Kelly has been voted out of his seat of Hughes after more than a decade in the job. He's been described as a "menace" by the Labor Party, has been dressed down by Prime Minister Scott Morrison, and was last month egged by a member of the public.
