Midnight nears for NBL Cinderella as last-second dagger puts MVP-less Kings close to title.

Without Adams, both Martin (20 points, 10 rebounds) and Cooks (20 points, 11 rebounds) put in monster performances throughout the game before Vasiljevic (20 points, five rebounds) iced the game with a monster final minute. With the Kings leading by five with just 90 seconds left Adams hit a tough midrange basket and followed it up moments later with a huge three to tie the scores at 83-83 with 1:13 left on the clock. Adams set a new franchise high for the JackJumpers with 36 points in a monumental performance, but in the end his mind-blowing late game heroics weren’t enough to overcome the Kings who hit crucial shots in the dying moments to hold on for a thrilling victory.
