Cameron Diaz's movie career may have come to an end, but Cameron Diaz recreated the hair gel scene from Something About Mary and fans are all about it.

Cameron Diaz delighted long-time fans by posting a throwback to one of her most iconic roles. Anybody who's been in the industry as long as the stunning star has is, inevitably, going to clock up a number of clunkers, but Diaz's innate charisma tends to carry her through even the least memorable fare. Nobody is more keenly aware of that fact than Diaz herself, who recreated the film's most legendary moment to hilarious effect.

The minutelong video starts with comedian Benito Skinner in the car on the way to Diaz's house for dinner. The actor looks taken aback and an awkward silence ensues. Skinner replied, "CHEERS TWIN!!!" and posted the video to his own Instagram page with a caption that was a nod to "There's Something About Mary."

We are literally going to Cameron Diaz’s house for dinner.” Skinner is off-screen and asks how he looks, getting a response that’s not very reassuring. The scene referenced in the video is one of the most famous parts of the movie, where Diaz and Stiller go on a date with her hair styled that way throughout. When they arrive at Diaz’s place, Skinner is revealed and is wearing a red dress and a yellow wig, with the fringe gelled and sticking up, just like Diaz’s look in “There’s Something About Mary.” Diaz takes a moment to herself and then appears wearing the same outfit and hairstyle. The actress and entrepreneur uses her social media to promote her businesses and to share the occasional funny clip.
