- Finally, while we don’t have a rule against profanity, please try and keep the naughty words in check. The match thread rules are the same as always. The Foxes are still in Europa Conference League as they settled for a 1-1 draw against AS Roma and former Spurs manager Jose Mourinho. It is entirely possible they rotate for this match, considering they played a near full-strength squad just three days ago. Wipe your feet, mind the gap, and be sure to check out the other pages at this outstanding site. - Along those lines, outright abuse of players or match officials is also not allowed. This week’s challenge are Leicester City, who were the victims of some insane late match heroics by one Steven Bergwijn just a few months ago.

After a couple of sleepy attacking performances, Spurs could do with a bright start to get the crowd onside. Emerson gets down the right and his deflected cross wins Spurs a corner. That was a better move from Spurs with Dier switching play to Romero and Son coming short to lay the ball off to Kane. He looks for Sessegnon on the left and Spurs win a corner. Brilliant driving run down the right from Soumare who had far too much gas for Davies, and the low cross ran all the way to Daka near the penalty spot and his shot cracked against the foot of the post. Spurs dropping off into their shape and allowing Leicester's back three to keep the ball in front of them. This time Schmeichel comes to take a looping Davies cross but he collided with a mixture of Romero and Thomas. Good defending from Castagne to stop Spurs rolling the ball into an unguarded net. Good work from Amartey and Mendy to smother Kane on the halfway line as he tried to to control and turn. Leicester gave up a soft goal from a corner, as is their tendency, but have enjoyed some strong periods and hit the post before Kane's goal. Amartey with a loose pass in his own half though, but Spurs do not attack quickly enough to maximise the chance. Conte stalking on the touchline and might be considering a change. Romero tries to force a through ball to Lucas Moura who down under the challenge of Soyuncu but Moss told him to get up. Almost an immediate impact from Kulusevski who skipped through a couple of Leicester challenges but then lost his balance and the ball ran out for a goal kick.

Tottenham will move into the top four of the Premier League - at least for a couple of hours - if they beat Leicester on Sunday.

DAZN subscribers can watch every single Premier League game in 2021/22 – and it gets better. If you pick up a fuboTV subscription for the games not on Peacock Premium, you'll be able to watch every game. To get around that, all you have to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN), assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs. A VPN creates a private connection between your device and t'internet, meaning the service can’t work out where you are and won't automatically block the service you've paid for. Jamie Vardy made his return to the starting XI in the first leg but will drop out of the team here. James Maddison and Jonny Evans are also contenders to be rested. Yet Spurs cannot afford to look ahead to that game yet. Their task on Sunday might be made easier by Leicester's ongoing participation in continental competition. After a 4-0 thumping of Aston Villa earlier this month, things were looking up for Antonio Conte's side. A 1-0 home defeat by Brighton was followed by a 0-0 draw with Brentford last weekend.

The number of times he turned over possession was amazing, and he actually used the ball very positively. On the ball and in the air he was also very reliable. Still battled hard in the engine room though and offered a lot. However, Davies did offer a lot going the other way on the underlap. For Tottenham’s second, he won back-to-back challenges to start the move. Emerson Royal – 7 – Some good work defensively, particularly in the air when defending crosses.

The players could have felt sorry for themselves and unravelled at 2-0, Spurs are a good team and can score lots of goals, but they didn't do that. With Spurs in need of inspiration early in the second half, Antonio Conte turned to Kulusevski and the Sweden international made an instant impact, laying on the second for Son, whose goal was allowed to stand despite Leicester protests for a foul on Caglar Soyuncu in the build-up. Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane fired Tottenham to a 3-1 win over Leicester and above Arsenal into fourth in the Premier League - for a few hours at least.

Here are our Tottenham Hotspur player ratings as they beat Leicester City 3-1 in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Grabbed another assist with his corner for Kane and then fired home himself on the hour mark with a clinical turn and finish. Sent a header over from Sessegnon's cross late in the half. The one time he did he picked out Lucas for a chance towards the end of the first half. Dominated in midfield for much of the match, setting the tone with some crunching tackles in the centre of the pitch in the early stages. Less to do from an attacking sense as those in front did the work, and that suited him perfectly and helped him concentrate on his defending, which was very good. Made a superb early save to tip Daka's shot onto the right-hand post and, in the second half, flew out to deny Iheanacho. Didn't have much to do, but what he did was important and stopped the game from turning.

The latest Leicester City news as the Spurs manager gives his reaction to the 3-1 win on Sunday afternoon.

City travel to Rome on Thursday as they look to make it to a European final for the first time in their history. I think then we deserved to win the game.” The game could have been different should Patson Daka’s effort in the first half had found the back of the net, instead of hitting the post just minutes before Harry Kane opened the scoring from a corner.

Cristian Romero and Son Heung-min got Tottenham Hotspur's UEFA Champions League hopes back on track helping them to a convincing 3-1 win over Leicester ...

It was a baptism of fire for the club’s Under-23 skipper who made his Premier League debut. Like his teammates, Daka also faded into obscurity in the second half. Perez, however, dropped off in the second half and was extremely poor when given the ball. He fashioned a good chance for Daka but was far too casual when it came to tracking back and defending. He almost played in Kane and had to rely on Schmeichel to bail him out. The Turkish international used his physicality to great effect and was mostly solid at the back. Castagne also got forward when he could and did his best in what was a collectively poor outing. The veteran was sharp as usual but also fluffed his lines while coming to collect a corner. Kane was not at his electric best but almost grabbed himself a second goal, only to be denied by Kasper Schmeichel. Leicester preferred attacking down his side and he got back well to support Davies. Sessegnon also proved to be an excellent option going forward and offered more than Emerson on the other flank. He was in particular bailed out by Romero after surrendering possession cheaply in the Spurs box. Brendan Rodgers’s side was noticeably second best for vast periods of the game and something will need to be done soon.

Tottenham threw down the gauntlet to Arsenal in the race for fourth place with a, belatedly, comfortable 3-1 win over Leicester City at Tottenham Hotspur ...

Leicester City turned over possession in their own half 12 times against Spurs - double the tally of their opposition- and 30 times overall. Tottenham had 13 shots against Leicester, 10 from inside the box, after two consecutive matches without a single shot on target. Son got the assist for Kane’s opener from a corner, found time in the Leicester box to spin and finish for the crucial second goal and then added a magnificent strike late to seal victory. Heung-Min Son delivered the three points with moments of absolute genius and looks to have found the form which had deserted him in recent weeks. Kulusevski now has eight assists and three goals in 14 appearances since joining in January and must be making a late run for Young Player of the Year.
