When everyone gangs up on Christine and calls her out for her behavior, the conversation takes an ugly turn. The two plan to host a luxury broker's open house to attract new clients while Christine assists Chelsea in meeting the rest of the Oppenheim staff. However, Christine ends up leaving the room in tears as the night that the two new gal pals were looking forward to takes a sad turn. Christine sees this as a great opportunity and chooses to work on the new listing with Chelsea. Christine occasionally rants about her fallout with the girls at work, and the two become close in a short period. She attempts to persuade her to join the Oppenheim Group by introducing her to Jason Oppenheim, one of the company's two bosses. All the drama resumes with the resumption of the series.

Updated for the 21st century with flashes of girlboss feminism and flickers of prosperity gospel, this is a bedtime story populated by beautiful woman striving to secure wealth, power, and love—to, essentially, become the contemporary American equivalent of a princess. Amid the latter real adversity that the show restrained itself from crassly televising, Chrishell has also faced a contrived nemesis: Christine Quinn.
