Frontier Touring reveals new executive and leadership structure (Mediaweek)

After announcing stadium tours for Ed Sheeran and Foo Fighters, concert promoter Frontier Touring has unveiled a new leadership structure.

Susan Heymann moves from her role as Managing Director of Chugg Entertainment to COO of Frontier, overseeing artist relations, creative and content development for the business. He oversees AEG’s concert touring, sports and venue development business – spanning 15 countries throughout Asia and the Pacific Rim – and played a key role in forming the joint venture between AEG Presents and Frontier Touring. Wilkes brings over two decades of experience in the Asian Pacific market to his new duties within the Frontier Touring leadership team.

Frontier unveils a new, four-strong leadership structure which will lead the company into the post-Michael Gudinski era.

“Now we are generally feeling like we’re on the other side of that, the team is up and about and energised. There are exciting times ahead for the company.” “I couldn’t be happier announcing our new Frontier Executive team,” comments Matt Gudinski in a statement. Frontier was founded on “strong relationships, an artist-first approach and a never-ending passion for music,” he continues, “and I know Dad’s legacy and the future of Frontier is in safe hands. The new structure, reads a statement, is designed to “ensure the legacy, mission, and culture of Frontier is preserved and nurtured,” following MG’s passing a year ago. With a year shaping as one of the brightest in its storied history, Frontier Touring restructures its executive and leadership teams for the busy road ahead.

Adam Wilkes moves to the role of Chairman of the Frontier Board in conjunction with his role as President and CEO, AEG Presents Asia Pacific…

Matt Gudinski said: “I couldn’t be happier announcing our new Frontier Executive team. There are exciting times ahead for the company.” “I couldn’t be happier announcing our new Frontier Executive team. “For Frontier going forward it is not about one individual or leader, it is about our whole team all working hard to build on Frontier’s reputation as one of the most respected concert promoters in the world.” The Executive team will report to the Frontier Touring Board, comprised of Jay Marciano (Chairman and CEO, AEG Presents and COO, Office of the Chairman, AEG), Matt Gudinski (Chairman and CEO, Mushroom Group), Adam Wilkes (President and CEO, AEG Presents Asia Pacific) and Dion Brant (CEO, Frontier Touring). Adam Wilkes will assume the role of Frontier Touring Chairman.
