Positive Team Spirit At Arsenal Highlighted In One Photo After Win At Aston Villa (unknown)

A photo featuring Aaron Ramsdale and Bernd Leno has highlighted the positive team spirit in the Arsenal squad under Mikel Arteta.

One photograph showed Ramsdale smiling from ear to ear while pushing Leno closer towards Arsenal's fans to receive a standing ovation for his clean sheet. Aaron Ramsdale had started Arsenal's previous 24 Premier League matches, after displacing Bernd Leno as the club's first-choice goalkeeper in September. Bukayo Saka scored Arsenal's 2,000th Premier League goal to give his side a deserved win at Villa Park.

Arsenal news: Major Barcelona transfer problem emerges as Lucas ... (Football.London)

All of the latest Arsenal news on Monday morning including updates on Sergi Roberto, Lucas Torreira and Philippe Coutinho.

He has scored in back-to-back games for the Serie A club and has received praise from former La Viola star Domenico Caso. He of course would be available on a free transfer. However, it seems unlikely that Arsenal will be able to take advantage of that fact with the news that a move to Atletico Madrid could be on the cards.

He will no doubt feel stupid here after recalling his own previous statement, and you would certainly not hear any complaints from our fans as we continue to impress and close in on the top four of the division, a feat that we are growing closer to every match. Agbonlahor has spoken out to complain that our celebrations were excessive, complaining that we were championing as if we had just ‘won the Champions League’, but James Benge has shared his previous comments praising Gerrard for celebrating a win in such a way, when he claimed that was ‘what the fans want’. Gabby Agbonlahor slated Arsenal for their celebrations after beating Aston Villa this weekend, but James Benge has quoted him on his previous comments about Steven Gerrard’s celebrations to highlight his absurdity.

Arsenal beat Villa to cement fourth place (Manning River Times)

Arsenal have strengthened their hold on the fourth and final Champions League spot in the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Aston Villa, ...

Arsenal moved four points clear of fifth-place Manchester United and within five of third-placed Chelsea in their bid to return to the Champions League. This season is the first in a quarter of a century that Arsenal have not been involved in European competition. Ninth-placed Villa were strangled by Arsenal's intensity in midfield and had only a few sights of goal, mostly in the second half. Arsenal have strengthened their hold on the fourth and final Champions League spot in the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Aston Villa, secured by a first-half strike by Bukayo Saka. The England international latched onto a weakly-cleared ball by the Villa defence and lashed a low, first-time shot past unsighted goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez from the edge of the area in the 30th minute at Villa Park on Saturday. Arsenal, missing goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale because of injury and in-form winger Gabriel Martinelli because of illness, were in control for most of the lunchtime game despite the short turnaround from their loss to Liverpool on Wednesday night.

Arsenal: 4 big positives from 1-0 Aston Villa win (Pain In The Arsenal)

Arsenal: 4 big positives from 1-0 Aston Villa win as Mikel Arteta's side take a grip of the Premier League top four ahead of international break.

Dropping points in this game would have been a travesty, and it prompted the late nerves, but even when the ball was in Villa’s grasp Arsenal still dominated the game from a defensive standpoint with their semi-famous 2-3-5. Whether or not they played 60 hours earlier and lost, their desire to take control of the match and keep the hosts at bay was as much about quality as it was about having the right mindset. Having exerted so much energy in the two previous games it would have been really easy for Arsenal to get stuck under the raucous crowd.

Edu gets the green light to terminate Arsenal's £33m Philippe ... (Football.London)

Latest Arsenal news includes fan reaction to reports Mikel Arteta and Edu remain keen on signing Philippe Coutinho ahead of the summer transfer window.

With that said, Steven Gerrard's side have the advantage and it would be a surprise if they did not activate the option following the Brazilian's fine start to life at Villa Park. Given that Villa retain a £33m clause to sign Coutinho permanently from Barcelona this summer, means Arsenal would likely have to match the offer in order to have any chance of securing his signature. Furthermore, it seems that Arteta and Edu have made their mind up on a move after getting a front row seat to witness the playmaker's talents in their 1-0 victory at Villa Park on Saturday as according to Sport, Arsenal are exploring the possibility of securing his services when his loan spell with the Midlands club comes to an end at the end of the season.
