Thomas pleaded not guilty to murder and was acquitted of the charges. The court heard he was unstable on his feet, slurring his speech and had bloodshot eyes after the crash. The court heard Thomas, 35, was found naked and trapped in his car, after crashing into bushes off Nerang Broadbeach Road on the Gold Coast, in October last year.
