“We spent five minutes sort of congregating at the sliding doors out the front of the hospital and then had to leave, so that was a very special moment.” “I’m not a big believer in the universe and all that sort of stuff, but that was certainly one that was just meant to be,” the proud dad said. The family drove to the hospital and Barry helped his wife out of the car. “[Lauren] said, ‘We just need to go, put the boys in the car, we’ve got to go’,” Barry recalled. Barry was evicted on day seven of the course, then headed to the Queensland border and did seven days of quarantine. But according to Barry, it was “meant to be” and he arrived home just two days prior to the dramatic birth of his son.
