Grant Denyer 'heals' the 'lowest' part of his life in an emotional dance.

“It’s okay to struggle. “It can actually be really healing at times. “And I feel that I can kind of close that chapter with a little bit of love and forgiveness.” It’s okay to hurt. “And while that was a very dark period, and a hard thing to dance to, I’ve always put one foot in front of the other, and I climbed my way out of that hole.” Grant added that he “feels a lot of healing here done tonight”. “It’s okay to fail and that’s a part of being human. “I wasn’t very well - in fact, I was very unwell.” “I’d broken my back and my body was breaking down and I just hit a wall,” Grant shared. “It was very difficult to climb out of that black hole and I didn’t think I could. Grant spoke of his life before the accident - as weatherman for Channel 7’s Sunrise and a TV host - saying he had been living the career he “had always dreamed of”. “I relate to it so much because it represents the lowest I’ve been in my life.”
